Americans' right to access fresh, healthy foods of their choice is under attack. 'Farmageddon' tells the story of small, family farms that were providing safe, healthy foods to their communities and were forced to stop, sometimes through violent action, by agents of misguided government bureaucracies, seeking to figure out why.

The dramatic expansion of industrial agriculture (ie, factory farming) has made it increasingly difficult for small family farmers in the U.S to stay in business. Instead, the food industry has become dominated by a handful of giant corporations which benefit from government policies that favor large-scale production.

Let's assume, for the sake of discussion, that Peak Oil is a fact. Let's also assume that the current recession is poised to deepen.
